DON S/Bond-o. Need thoughts

Long story short.
Trailer pops off hitch.
Trailer hits barbed wire fence (like a F-15 on the USS Enterprise)
Boat launched..20 feet..landed in pasture.

My question is, any quick thoughts on possible alignment issues with that impact on a tinny?

I know the proper thing is to pull the OD, use Alignment tool and verify nothing tweaked, correct?

Ayuh,... It's 6 nuts,+ a 6 dollar gasket set,... Whatdaya Think the answer is,..??

Not only pull the outdrive and look, but look at the gimbal ring and the transom shield. The drives normally are not flush with the bottom of the boat. Something allowed the drive to go higher than normal.

You are actually probably fine as far as alignment goes, but verifying that wont hurt anything and would certianly give you better piece of mind.

I know it has been awhile on this..
But I finally got off me arse and stopped playing with my other lil tinny and gave my "real" boat some attention.

I redid a bunch of wiring (battery straps are REALLY important..lol) that ripped out when she launched..
Put her on the muffs and fired her up..
Fired up easily...After running for a few minutes...POOSH!
I see water exploding from the rear of the motor..
I shut her down instantly and snapped this pic before throwing tools and inventing new cuss words.

I don't know if it came from the area with the arrow..or right behind it from the rubber bellows (are they bellows?)

It was getting late and I seriously couldn't handle the roller coaster of emotions YES she fired right up...DAMMMMM what the HECK was THAT!

I will get in there tonight and get a good look..Will it hurt firing her up again for a second on the muffs to see whats going on?
