They claim the dolphin and the cat are playing ... I think the dolphin is trying to see if the fur will be too hard to digest ...:p

Re: Dolphin and Cat

Thats funny! Dolphins amaze me. We go down to Padre Island tx from time to time. There is a walking trail in the harbor right near the water. This dolphin will sneak up on people next to the water and when he gets close he will slap the water extremely hard. This scares the daylights out of passers by. They are super intelligent creatures.

That was one of the best videos I have seen in a long time. Anyone that thinks that animals don't have a sixth sense is fooling themselves. They know which ones are friendly and which mean them harm.

I was once 10 miles out in the ocean fishing and gone for a swim. A dolphin came up to me, stuck his head out of the water and stared at me for 1-2 minutes (seemed like an hour). He let me touch him on the head and then turned and swam off. That was one of my best days fishing.

The dolphin was eyeing up the cat as a snack, and the cat was thinking it was about to score the biggest goldfish its ever eaten.

That's good stuff, Art. Notice the whistle in the Lady's mouth. This is used to train dolphin. Once in the Bahamas we were traveling the waterway in a little 11' dingy, doing some sightseeing. I was sipping on a brew when 2 of them approached our boat and came onboard. I put down my beer and swore off drinking forever. A trainer was in another vessel nearby. She showed us the tricks they can do thru the (unheard of by us) various whistle signals.

The cat is the one that amazes me.

I picked up my beer. I wasn't going crazy after all....yet!

I dont know I bet they stopped filming 10 seconds before the dolphin came up and plucked that cat off the boat into the water.
