There I sat scratch my cat's favorite spot on the back when it happened. With a rush of agony my lungs swelled, eyes watered and nose pukered.... All before my brain even knew what had happened. A cloud of kitten grunge spewed out of her rear oriface with unnecessary pungence.

Sorry, I didn't mean to drum up old memories. I did the same when our dog pound dog passed decades ago now. She was an amazing dog. They really are family.
