Does the website auto log-off people every 3 days?

As the title states. I visit the site every day with Firefox. Every three days I find that I have been logged-off and need to sign in again.

Is this a action inherent in the new website software update? I don't remember it being like this in the past... Not a huge problem; just curious.

Like Scott said, "it's an issue." I'm getting logged off pretty much daily. Sometimes multiple times in a day. It's being worked on, but the list of stuff being worked on is pretty long.

There's currently no ETA on the fix.

Very random. The White Screen Of Death is happening far more often.

Depending on the system's mood could be hours or days. A matter to live with it till it's resolved..

With absolutely no knowledge of what the "IT Minions" are doing behind the scenes, I too get logged off every few days...
I just figured it was the "Cookie" that's probably used has an expiration to help protect me so I don't stay logged in forever...
I'm ok with that.. lol

I could imagine the MODS have quicker expiration's since they have more access than users.. Minutes though??? Ehh... Not that quick I'd think... haha!

Also, when it happens more frequently than every few days, I figure it's the IT guys pushing updates to the server and invalidating the cookies....

The white screen of death though does occur quite a bit though...
Again, I figure it's updates or something happening...
Usually the site refreshes after a few minutes and I'm still logged in... Occasionally not logged in...

Again, everything I say here is PURE speculation, but it makes sense to me anyway...

In any event, as stated, it is something being worked on...
Have to say the site and forum in general is SOOOO much better than it was immediately after this last update though...
