My boat was painted black on the hull but it is mostly missing/ looks very poor.
I boat in fresh water so I do not need any type of protection, this is for looks.

Granted I would need to sand it down/ prep, I just dont see anything made for a hull that is White! Does anything exist? I look here on I boats and it's a bit overwhelming how many hull products are available....

Do you know of the name of this product? Your link brings me to their home page.

Many years ago, my father had a 1990 Regal that had hull blisters, the dealer re-painted the hull on that in White but I recall it wasnt any type of anti-foil paint as it did not wipe off and was on for life.

Ayuh,... My boat, 'n a few I take care of have been painted with plain ole Rustoleum, as a bottom paint...
It holds up Remarkably well...

Mine has been a dock queen for the last 7 years, 'n was a wagon boat for that long, before...
All with nothin but Rustoleum battleship gray enamel...
A quick touch up every other year is All I've ever done to it, since the 1st coat went on, darn near 15 years ago...

Bond-o is correct. Check the link at the bottom of my signature for info on painting your boat. You can use any Acrylic Enamel Paint with the Hardener. Rustoleum is one of them along with many others. You can check locally for what's available..

Hi gtochris,

Another possible option is to check out what Chriscraft254 did to his hull...no paint, just tons of elbow grease and look at the finish he got...http://forums.iboats.com/showthread.php?t=483913 ...Page 17, posting #638...there you can see some before and after...

If your gel-coat under the anti-foul paint is in good shape you can get it to look that good, too...and if you have any minor scratches or chips afterwards, they can be touched up...

Best of luck,
GT1M

Thanks everyone. I book marked the links in my favorites so I can compare/ shop some more.

I noticed http://www.wholesalemarine.com/p/ILX...om+Finish.html is pretty strict about having 0 bottom paint on prior to painting- My sisters boyfriend just got a gas powered power washer which I'll try in the fall and I figure I would sand off whatever else I could by hand. I just think getting it all off the bow area above the water line is going to be difficult since it has minimal contact with the lake.
