I have a Humminbird 383c GPS/Fishfinder combo unit. I am pretty happy with it so far. Retails for about $399.

I have a Garmin 176C that I use in both the boat and the truck. I also have a handheld Garmin GPS12. I also look at charts and pay attention to the compass . . .
