distributor headach 1972 800 merc

Hi everyone just found out the guy I bought my boat & motor from removed the distributor and he was not sure if he put it back together right, is there a diagram to show the right way to put this back together. Thanks Bob

Thanks Laddies, that timing info is just what I was looking for. Mush better than the generic info in the Seloc manual.

Here is a good exploded view diagram of the distributor assy if you are looking to get into the nuts and bolts of how it goes together.
