Digital tach?

Anybody ever try one of these on a 2-smoke outboard? They seem to only come with 5' of wire - wonder if the wire can extended so the thing can sit where it can be seen.

If that is a Tiny Tach, you can request almost any reasonable length. I they charge 10 bucks for a extended coax lead if you get it from them.

Standard cable length is 6 feet. Additional length can be added at the factory for $10. If not standard, please specify total length needed.

I'm actually reviewing a tach like that now.. I have it on my 71 50hp.. So far so good..
Wasn't sure about extending the sensor wire, but I found this:

I was originally looking at ones on Amazon, but I suppose those are cheap knockoffs. Will check TT.
