Ten years ago I got a used 1994 yamaha 130 2-stroke. I did a leakdown test today and the two cylinders on the left side tested good 5-6psi leakage, the two on the right are at 10psi. Would replacing the head gasket help?
only if the head gasket is leaking.
when you test one or both of those cylinders with air pressure on it can you hear air coming out of the other cylinders spark plug hole?
or coming out of around the head anywhere?
how about coming out of the intake or exhaust?
I thought Leak down tests usually are measured in % not PSI
