My toons are 23"dia,not that this makes a difference. I had figured the bottom of the toons was the bottom of the boat and set my anti-cavitation plate at the bottom of the toons. Find that this is too deep. Is there a way to determine the correct location for the plate, IE, where is the pseudo bottom of the boat?

Re: Depth for Anti-Cavitation plate

It's a pontoon -- and as such the prop is already operating in very turbulent water so depth is not nearly the issue that it is on a planing hull. You probably won't notice any difference no matter where you set the height.
