Anyone know how to remove this? I have tried flipping and sliding the center piece down to access the fasteners behind but it has not worked. It is an old model Hummingbird depth finder.

tap upward. the bracket is wedge shapped and the outer bracket snaps into the part screwed to the hull.

I have taken them off before and you unscrew the nut, pull the bolt out and it slides off, a little to easy. I'm thinking there is a lock washer on the inside or wrong side of the bracket and now it has worked its way into both side id the bracket?

As roscoe says it's hinged.
The hinge is at the top where it says Humminbird.
Pull or pry from the bottom.

Roscoe you were right. Sorry for the delay in responding. Just got it out of storage. Thanks for the help.

Great.
I had to remove one of those off of dad's boat a few years ago, had to refer to the install instructions to figure it out.
