Depth finder

My DF in my '99 252 reads temp but not depth. I think it is the transducer which I believe is a Faria guage. Does anybody know where it is? I prefer not to tear apart the boat looking for it.

The "hockeypuck" transducer is probably located under the engine.

That is correct...at least that is where mine was in my 94 252.
