I would NOT buy fiberglass! alum. boat will take a LOT more abuse than fiber. and a lot lighter.

And WADR I would buy fiberglass over aluminum, all things being equal. Reasonable minds can disagree. But not always--I have both.
Nothing in boating is "one size fits all."
