I forgot. Here in Minneapolis there is a place called Twin City Outboard. The have stacks and stacks of old motors. You might be able to find a match in good shape. They are likely on the internet. I do not have there # handy but if you can't track it down<br />let me know and I will get it.
Problem is the engine is too new. Check with Bob Grubb before you give up at http://www.oldmercs.com/ <br />He's got the "Single Lever Full Gear Shift" decals. If anyone can get them he can.
Yep my motor's too new. But I bet this model with chrome bands etc will one day be a classic. especially here in Australia where we didn't start getting serious about local manufacturing till the early 60s.<br />Your replies are greatly appreciated.
