Daughter's Christmas Present

We surprised her with a trip to PAWS, and animal rescue shelter, where we found Maggie, an approximately 2 year old Shepherd/Lab mix. Daughter and dog are happy!

Why do I suspect that Maggie just won the "Dog Lottery"?
The only things that go together as well as a "boy and his dog' is a "girl and her dog".
Hard to tell which one looks happier.

Nice looking dog, indeed.
Funny that your animal shelter is called "PAWS", so is our local one. But ours in an acronym for "Peoria Animal Welfare Shelter."

...Just one guy's opinion but I think Lab/Shepard's make a great mix, especially for kids.

Nah, two guys. I'm a retriever owner, but I've known quite a few shepherds and quite a few mix (lab/shepherd) and they are good dogs.

Man, Maggie has the worst gas EVER! I told the wife at least I could us her as an excuse when company comes ... her response, "Yours smell like roses next to that dog!" Just about gassed us out of the house last night ... I thought Rubber Frog was visiting!:lol:

If you keep her on a regular diet, the gas should 'pass' in a few days, it MAY only be the change in her food..

BTW: I've found that soft/moist food to generate more gas, then the 'regular' dry dog food....
