What is the "magic" for discovering the age of an Evenrude 40hp w/ vro, I have the factory stamp but cannot convert!

mobobcat,This will likely be moved to the outboard questions forum but you can try this site if you have the model number. web page<br />It's not in english but still fairly easy to follow.
