So Taylor swift is getting married ...world wide hype ......but who really gives one 🙄
not a fan of her music but as my wife told me the other day as i was tapping my hand to the steering wheel shortly after telling her that i wasn't a fan, she said 'that taylor swift'.......

However i have been a fan of her business acumen over the years. Hard to avoid it on the news feeds i follow. She has proactively and reactively not fell into the many traps of stardom as far as i can tell.

I'm not into celebrity much but that combined with me being a almost lifelong Chiefs fan and watching Travis last many years - then the whole way she got 'asked out' on the first date - then watching them be happy as a couple is just good, celebrity or not. If your mate came and told you the same story about how he and his soon to be bride met and fell in love you would be very happy for him, right? Add the fact that they are both not spring chickens and have not been previously married, just waiting on it to seemingly fall in place which at least on the surface it appears to.

last note. I was married to a B list celebrity for almost 10 years. It is hard to play the subordinate role but i think i did it well. I was known as Mr 'Delany' (her fake name) so when out i was always second fiddle. Travis is famous but not Taylor famous. While i was not famous for anything other than being her husband, i am a very outgoing guy. I'm the guy you remember from the party /event. Playing a sub role when also being 'famous' in your own right is what i see many celeb marriages struggle with but then we have several examples of ones that DO work and given the path this one has taken I am hopeful - not just because they are celebs but because they are people and as my erstwhile 'mate' i want Travis to be happy and by extension her as well.

Besides, we not get to call then TnT!! Pretty explosive if you ask me....

How do you keep the music playing?
How do you make it last?
How do you keep a song from fading too fast?
How do you lose yourself to someone
And never lose your way?
How do you not run out of new things to say?
And if we know we're always changing
Why should it be the same?
And tell me how year after year
You're sure your heart will fall apart
Each time you hear her name
I know the way I feel for you
It's now or never
The more I love, the more that I'm afraid
That in your eyes I may not see forever
Forever
If, if we can be the best of lovers
Yet be the best of friends
If we can try with every day
To make it better as it grows
Then hey look, then I suppose
The music, the music
The music never
Never, never ends
