Cylinder head isn't warped, was measured across l and -- with a machinist straight edge ruler and was found flat as should be before previous installation. I would not even think to torque the cylinder head if it was found warped.
What needs to be resurfaced, shaved, whatever is the crankcase where the cyl gasket and head bolts to. That's the issue with motors that live in salt water, works all day and will never be flushed with fresh water so expect excessive salt, rust, pitting formations very fast on almost the entire motor.
