In January bought a Panasonic HD TV. One of the HDMI inputs didn't work, but I kept messing with it, trying different cables and input devises. Last weekend decided it wasn't me, and decided to take my beating and call Panasonic. To my surprise, they were most polite, apologetic, cordial, and spoke clear English. They were all over the problem and an hour after my initial call the tech called to tell me what was going to happen over the next week and that it would be taken care of with no hassles. Again, the tech apologized for the inconvenience, etc. It sure made the whole process much easier than most ... I wasn't accused of abusing it, it wasn't my fault, it was like calling an old friend!

Then this afternoon I get a call from a company I ordered a projector bulb from a couple weeks ago (All Projector Lamps). They were just calling to make sure the bulb arrived safely, and that it was working okay, and that I was pleased with my purchase. They thanked me for my business (first time I ever ordered from them), and said they hoped that I would consider purchasing from them again when I needed something.

2 times in 2 days ... hard times bring out the best in companies!

I installed a brand new GE oven. The cable that went to one of the doors wasn't retracting properly. Went online and scheduled an appt for a few days later. Service guy arrived within 15 minutes of the beginning of the allotted 4 hour arrival window. Fixed it in 20 minutes.
