Anyone ever hear of this boat? It's a 1975 crs cruiser? I'm trying to find out a value on it so I can get a loan, and can't find any info on it.

Would probably be easier to let the bank tell you what the loan value is.

Ayuh,.... With a 37 year old hull, I'd guess it'll be $0.00.....

Yeah the first three are CRS and that's the problem the bank can't find out what the boat is worth.

Post some of the specs you know about the boat. Motor..... service records and what the hull is constructed of..... have a trailer too? any service records available?

Being a 1975 I would not even venture a guess...... what is the asking price?

It has 115hp mercury 1150 motor, on a trailer that looks pretty nice, it's a 17ft open bow. For $1800

For a 1975 boat and motor....... No way you need to continue shopping........ you are about $1200 too high. That is an old distributor motor that was prone to having wiring and electrical issues and #2 piston issues.

You shouldn't be taking out a loan on an $1800 boat, nor do I believe anyone would give you a loan for that. You could probably get a line of credit if you need that amount, but imho, you shouldn't be buying boats if you can't save up $1800 to buy it outright.

Agree completely, no bank will loan you money for this. I suppose you could be talking about a loan from a friend or family member (both poor choices in my opinion as well). Anyway, if you can't afford it outright you probably can't afford the costs associated with actually using it either.
