You are going to have to do some checking to find where the problem is. Hook up a remote tank directly to your fuel fitting on the fuel pump housing. Then see if the pump quiets down. Then work your way back to the tank. Could be nothing more than a loose fuel hose, or even the wrong kind of hose clamps. Fuel lines with standard wide hose clamps tend to leak and suck air. The little narrow "Mini clamps) are what you need for small diameter hose.
