Crestliner ID HELP!

I have recently aquired a 14' Fiberglass Crestliner and I know nothing about it, it has been gutted of the controls and wiring etc.

The numbers off the plate are:

SN: 711617
Model: 64371

Can anyone tell me the year of this boat and perhaps what the Model Name would be, I can't imagine it not having some kind of name.

Any help would be great.

Any thoughts and input would be great, I will start the restoration this week. . . First mod is cutting the Transom . . . need to fit a short shaft on this beast.

You gave me the shivers when I read you were cuuting your transom down to fit a short shaft. I just got finished bringing my transom back to long shaft from short shaft, P O cut it down to fit a 1961 merc400.

Your boat looks good can't wait to see more, good luck.

Rob I cant help you with a year but it looks ALOT like my 1964 Del Rio . The windshield tells me its newer than mine as I have the curved plexi windshield also my dash is differant but the basic hull looks alot like mine. How long is it mine is a 16'.

the problem with older crestliners, is that they went through i believe 3 different owners in its years. so the current crestliner company, as opposed to AMF or the other owner (cant recall who) may not have info for you.

check out that link. ive been looking for about 30 minutes but need to do some things.

its setup weird, so make sure you scroll down and look for links going to a second page

i saw a few that had the square style windshild, but the transom area was a bit different.
