I have a 1988 70 hp Evinrude VRO and while running it pees fine but there is also water coming out of one of two holes right on the top back part of the lower unit just below the rear clamp for the cowling. What are these whole and is this normal.
They are exhaust relief holes so the engine can crank when it is in the water and yes it is normal for water/mist to come out when the thermostats open.
