There's several though it's loosely a chemistry joke.

One of the guys prepared an emergency spread for the teams and brought in some venison chilli... Will report back

A lot of H in LPG / propane so when you burn it you get a lot of H2O. I'm familiar because I convert vehicles to run on propane, at this time of year when it's cold and damp some converted vehicle owners worry about their engines if they get more steam out the exhaust from a cold start.

I wasn’t sure if I wanted to post here or I just wanted to share a nice photo.
I just finished a beautiful snack that was delivered by a beautiful friend.
He was at a Super Bowl party last night and stuck these in his pocket for me.
Man I miss eating stone crab.

What no invite?

Spread looks great enjoy
Thanks sir. Party is at 3.

The brisket was actually taken to work for a friday cook out last week (I made a second yesterday but wanted a test audience for my first ever brisket) the company said, and I quote "we like really like her birthday." Since I always do test batches to bring in for them to criticize... never a complaint and you get a spread of differing tastes. They're considering making it a paid holiday since the food test the week before is so good. :ROFLMAO:

I enjoy doing things like that since it does build morale this time of year. It's off season for us so we're in process maintenance mode. And that takes a lot out of everyone so it's nice to get a little win like that here and there.

When I worked I've set up, at my own expense, for 10 to 80 people and I was always the 'enemy' aka management or corporate management. Communing over food changes things.

It wasn't until maybe 15 years back that I realized I had become my father, in many ways but here about food. There was very few times that there was not an extra kid friend or min or a work friend of his not sitting with us at suppertime. It is quite hard to break bread with someone and not learn something important about them.

"To share a table with someone is to share everything" a quote highlights that sharing a meal signifies deep connection and openness. Other common variations emphasize inclusivity ("build a longer table, not a higher fence")

I agree. It always brings people together. And has bridged the gap between blue and white collar for sure. There's a random cake, brisket, cookies whatever in the break room everyone is always in a better mood and they all get talking about it. The plant favorite is crumb cake. I've brought in 3 whole sterno sized trays of it and it's gone by lunch.

It's gotten to the point other departments have started wandering back just to see what's next. And it lets us see face to face people we otherwise would maybe only converse with on the phone. The company does a "cook out" (they call it a BBQ but I can't because theyre is little BBQ but a ton of other foods) and hands down I've blown them out also on my own dime.

It's at the point now all the guys actually offer 20$ a pop for food. (Which is way too much) I don't take money but instead suggest they make and bring something of their own. With the brisket we had drumsticks, antipasta salad and Mac and cheese brought in by others. It's facilitated some great things over the 5 years I've been here.
