With a 59000 posts this may have been covered, but my searches didn't come up with it.

Rebuilding a 22' CCP Aquasport from the hull up. Committed to closing off the transom.

One option is buy a bracket or plate for the '89 200hp Suzuki, which has some life left in her, but I see myself dropping 15-20k on a new one in a few years.

However I have 2 230hp mercrusier straight inboards w/ less than 50 hours on them since a rebuild, sitting in a boat that will never see the water again.

So being frugal, my first questions would be:

-Can I take one of those inboard 230s and mount a sterndrive/outdrive on it?

-Is feasible to convert that boat to a straight inboard?

Again if this has covered before, my apolizes, please forward me a link to those posts

Thanks
Fred

I would sell the stuff you have on cragslist
and put the money toward a newer high hp motor or 2 100 hp
this looks like a great design to me.
