Anyone know how to hook up an 1984 70 HP Johnso with a two wire trim and tilt to a newer 3 wire controls? The two wires are blue and green and then newer crontrols have a blue, green and red wire.

You have to have 12 volts for the motor, red wire is power, for green or blue relay connection. Connect red to hot. Can be direct or switch on and off.
