Conversion Question

I have a 1989 Donzi.
Can you still use the 460 big block engine with the Mercruiser Outdrive?

Still?????????? Never knew you could to start with. Main question is WHY. Since Merc never used the 460 you now have to use the OMC Manifolds & Risers, along with an OMC coupler. (BTW, Those items are NLA from OMC or anyone else) then you will have the problem of the flywheel cover that doesn't exist, and the Y pipe for one.

There's No "Still" about it,....

Mercruiser Never used the 460 Big Block Fords.....
Matter of fact,....
Mercruiser only used the 302s,+ 351s for a very short period, back in the 70s,...
None of those old parts will Help your cause....

454 Big Block Chevies are a Dime a Dozen though......
