Connecting Remote Control box

Can anyone provide a picture of how to connect the remote control box to a 1972 Johnson 50ESL72C. It's a Hydro-electric drive control box.

Let me know if you have any questions as i am having a hard time trying to explain this..

I know where 1 and 2 go but how about 3 and 4?
