Re: transom plate won't come off

That is an early Gen II, so the stud part numbers are as follows

4 of.. 16-818834
4 of.. 16-56296

I guess you could fabricate them from SS. Here's the dimensions.
2 of them are 4-3/4" long and 2 are 4-1/4" long. On all, one end is UNF (7/16-20) the other UNC (7/16-14)...
In reference to this old topic in the following link, http://forums.iboats.com/forum/engi...outdrives/635666-transom-plate-won-t-come-off

Hello, I'm having sort of similar issue myself. Just curious if these would be the studs I need too? My transom SN is 0K125315 1997 B3
Thank you!

Hi there, please know that I took the liberty of starting a new topic of your own vs tagging onto the end of an old topic that's now linked above. Please see the "Help Tip" at the top of the forum page for more info about thread hijacking....Thank you.:)

The transom stud part numbers for your serial number can be found in the following link below under item numbers 2 and 3 along with items 27 and 28 if needed.;) They are the same part number in Chris's quote.:)
