Some very heart warming stories. EFHenry it is amazing how a dog will put its life on the line to save its human family member. <br /><br />Last weekend, I got to attend the Ohio Newfoundland Rescue demonstartion. What a show!
Just amazing how powerful those dogs are in the water as well as out. (I think my wife is in the process of getting a pup for my birthday) I'm not surpose to know, but there has been too many questions that lead in that direction. Plus phone calls from a local breeder asking for her. (thanks to caller ID) <br /><br />I'm just wondering how Keeper (my newf/lab mix) is going to handle a new pup. He really needs someone here while the misses and I are at work.<br /><br />Who needs a throwable presever when you have a fetching life preserver.... <br /><br />I know it is sad when you lose your best loyal compainion. But there are plenty of loving dogs to take their place. They will never be like your old dog, but they will have other qualities as well.
