Coffin for fuel tank?

Hi all, I am about 1/3 of the way through my project and had a question. Should I make a coffin for my fuel tank on this boat? Or will a slatted bottom with fore/aft bulkhead be sufficient? Thanks!!!

BTW, 70 gal al tank that I have repaired and will be moving forward to compensate for the transom changes.
