I have an 88 Sunbird with OMC Cobra 4.3 and I can push the outdrive from port to starboard is that normal or should I be only to move it that much with the steering?
If the steering wheel is locked, you should only get a small amount of play.
Hold the wheel and then try pushing.It should only get an inch or two if that.
