Cleats and light assy.

Anyone out there Know how to make old front light assy. and tie down cleats look good. Don't really want to get new ones they just don't have that classic look.

chrome starting peel and the metal is pitting a little.

Maybe take them and have them re-plated. If it's peeling off and pitting then there is not much you can do about that on your own other than prep them and paint them.

That is what I kinda what i thought so I preped the light assy and painted it with a mettalic paint and then Cleared over it it looks a lot better than it did.
