Is there anything I can use to clean inside pitting? I have stainless wire wheels and brushes but I cant get all of the corrosion out of the pitted areas of my transom. Is there a chemical that people are using to clean corrosion from the aluminum? Thank you

White vinegar , not to strong ...50:50 table vinegar and water ,leave for max 5 mins , bit of a scrub with someone elses toothbrush and rinse off , repeat if needed 🙂

Dremel wire wheels do work but the buckin fristles get everywhere , they get stuck in your clothes, migrate from garment to garment in the washing machine and to furniture and car seats and wifie's clothes . For every 5 mins with the dremel wire wheel is a month worth of removing bristles from everything else . Better if you dont spin them to fast but as you'll see the wheel will shed them wire spikes and they gotta go somewhere , and thusly eye protection is vital ....even for hero's that dont really need it , whole face shield is best coz I have pulled bits of wire outa my face many times .
