Classic Chris Craft 283H engine voltage regulator

Gifted a '64 Chris Craft 26' Cavalier with a 283 engine. It's had an alternator update, but the voltage regulator is missing. Any ideas of what it was supposed to be?

Your updated alternator may have an internal V regulator..

The old chris craft motors used a belt driven generator with a divorced regulator/rectifier. Like an old tractor

Agree the alternator in place of the old system could likely have a regulator/rectifier in it.

What voltage is the current setup producing?
