I Am Having Problems With My 78 Chrysler Motor. The Starter Just Clicks When I Try To Start It. Is There Anyway To Check And See If My Starter Needs To Be Changed And Do You Have One In Stock? It Is Not The Battery Since I Just Bought A Brand New 12 Volt System Is This The Wrong Battery? Thank You For Your Time Dawn

Howdy TF.

Welcome to iboats. :)

Go to the Engine FAQs, Outboard won't start.

Betting on bad connection in starter high current circuit.

Let us know what you find.

Re: chrysler motor

Don't forget: God invented rope and outboards have notched flywheels so we can start our engines.

Depending on your engine, it might be a little difficult, but it will get you on the water. Just don't use clothesline. It breaks easily.
