Crazy thought.... as i said I've never taken the fly wheel off so not sure what's under there or how it really works but could the magnet or whatever is under there activating the wrong trigger and that's why it's swapping 180 degrees?

Pull the flywheel off if you haven´t yet and check how it looks like.
The magnet is a thin strip that is glued to the flywheel outer rim and it serves the stator windings charging the CDI box and battery.
It is not uncommon the magnets get loose but then you loose spark.
The trigger pick up coils has an own magnet that is built in in the center of the flywheel and it is not glued.
It is pressed in I think.
Pull the flywheel and check everything, the wires from the stator and trigger etc.
They maybe rubbing against the block causing problems.
Better to check everything at the ignition system before buying expensive parts.
The only effort is you time..... but it is perhaps free !!!!

This is what I found. Does everything look right?

Going by your last comment I can see everything that is supposed to be there so everything looks ok to me I think

Hi Nordin, was just reading in another article you commented on about using a screwdriver to see how strong the magnets are. The stator magnets are very strong, the one for the trigger not so much which is what could be causing me these issues. If there way to fix this or is that a whole flywheel replacement?

I'm consistently now getting 0.15 volts from both triggers which by the recommendations is too low

Next problem....... I just installed the new CDi and from the red wire to ground I'm getting 31V, from the orange to ground I'm getting 0.15V.... what's next?

Sorry, 1.5V from #1 orange cylinder. Is this normal for the way it fires up?

0,5 VDC or higher from triggers.
180 VDC or more from stator to CDI box (blue-yellow) connected.
Orange and red are output to each coil.
No spec. of output from CDI box to coil.

Ok thanks Nordin, was kind of hoping there was as they are so different.

Joe I can not say if the magnetic field is strong enough but as the trigger magnet is smaller and it suppose to generate a low voltage to the CDI box to dump the capacitor voltage, it would not be so strong.
I would suggest you to take a closer look at the trigger ring.
As the triggers purpose are to give singal to the CDI box to dump the voltage in the capacitors to the ignition coils and to the right one and in right time there could be something wrong with it.
Bad insulation or some rubbing to the power head or some problem e
with the winding in the coils.
Have you checked the resistance in the trigger coils?
Should be 48-50 Ohm and also check resistance to ground.
Should be infinity.

Sorry I didn't get a notification.

48.1 and 49 and all 4 infinity to ground
