I have a Chrysler 1057HF I was trying to figure out why it wasn't firing I took the cap off the distributor and there were several pieces laying in the cap. I was wondering if it could be rebuilt or where I could find one or if there's any other option I have. I'll upload some pictures of what I'm talking about

welcome aboard

you need a new cap and rotor.

they are maintenance items, just like the points.

Any idea where I could order the parts or what to search for to make sure I get the right ones

Start with the parts breakdown for your specific motor

I couldn't find a cap and rotor online for it. Is there a distributor for a V6 that would work since it's 3 cylinder

As Scott Danforth says you need a new (good used one will be okey) distributor cap and rotor.
The rotor is complete with rotor shaft.
The rotor is not removable from the shaft.
The dist.cap need to be for a 4 cylinder Chrysler OB.
3 cylinders will not fit.
Automotive distributor, cap and rotor will not fit.
Good sources are Franz Marine, Ebay, Market place.
Franz Marine maybe have new ones, he is not cheap but you got the right parts and he is really service minded.

Agree with Nordin, Franz Marine aint cheap but unlike most sources for parts he will answer your questions and give you advice......is worth a little extra money for that. Have you ever sent a message to a seller on ebay? Most of them are clueless and are only interested in selling the parts......

Okey then someone must have either changed the power head or changed the lower cowl.
Idtag model number 1057HF tells use it is a 105Hp 1974.
All 105Hp are 4 cylinder engines.

IIRC, the 3-cylinder used a modified 6-cylinder prestolite cap with only 3 of the terminals. I believe the rotor is just glued to the shaft.

The pic looks like someone swapped in a 6-cylinder cap.

call Franz, or spend a day at your local NAPA going thru all the parts on the shelf, and their paper catalogs

or a day going thru catalogs such as teh following (scroll down to the marine catalog) https://www.standardbrand.com/en/catalog/catalog/pdf-catalogs
