Choices for Perfume and Cologne

Awhile back, my wife bought some perfume that was totally irritating to me. The smell would drive me up the wall. I asked her why she bought that perfume, and she said "all the women like it." I then asked her... "would you wear something that I think smells good?" So we started to debate the situation....... In our conclusion, we decided she could choose the colognes for me, and I would choose the perfumes for her. Now every thing smells good......any how to us....
I was wondering. Has anyone else done this? Or do you continue to put up with a smelly partner.
Is there some other option?

Mine loves to fish, but the Kick-n-Bass scent stays outside, or I sleep outside.

I have a spray can of Rem Oil next to a spray can of deoderant on my dresser.

One of these groggy mornings....

Anyway, I dont have much of a nose. Too much welding and and painting without a respirator, so I really dont care what smells people wear.

My wife is so sensitive to perfumes that even when we go shopping some one will walk past and depending on the perfume she will get an instant migraine. Then there are some people who you would just swear that they bathed in it.

Public notice a little is OK but over kill is more offensive that B.O.

I too get ill from smelling someone who put on too much perfume cologne. most women and men i suppose loose their ability to smell things,and by the time they put enough on,it is way too much. My own mother and mother in law included. Funny story,I love to cook and my sister gave me a bottle of garlic oil for a gift once, me being funny (more like stupid) continued to dab some on each side of my neck like cologne. My god i stunk for like three days.. NEVER GONNA DO THAT AGAIN.

We've got a gal at work that wears perfumes. It's the general concesous in the office that it's in lieu of regular bathing. She's refuses to tone it down and in as much won't be around much longer.

There's nothing wrong with a bit of colonge or perfume so long as it actually smells good on you. What smells good on one one person may not go with anothers body chemistry. My wife likes perfume and for the most the most part makes good selections, but once in awhile I have tell her it's a no-go and she understands. I don't often wear any but when I do I wear Drakkar and nothing else. Like most guys, when I find something that works I stay with it. What drives me nuts are the kids who are hosing themselves down with that Axe crap. Talk about an instant headache and ya can smell them coming a mile away.

I'm generally wearing Scent-B-Gon &/or Buck Lure/Doe-in-Heat, depending on the season ! Wife prefers when I wear Obsession, so I oblige at times.

Don't really care what the wife wears ... she doesn't need to attract me, she already did that!
