cheap reliable compass

im looking for a cheap reliable compass for my boat. im leaning towards a liquid filled ball. what are your feelings and do you have any suggestions?

im not looking to spend a bunch, just something i can mount to my boat.

look down the page there's a richie for 38 bucks. i don't even have that good of one but it does point north. that + my gps and i feel like i'm hip..

There are a lot of good low-cost compasses out there ; and here at the iboats store !! I'd consider your compass purchase to be an item that you would want to spend as much as possible on ...you will be trusting your ship and life to it . Do you want to get what you paid for ?? peter
