hi guys im a newbie to the board, ive got a 1976 johnson 25 and would like to change the lower unit to one of the newer ones that have the clutch hub feature.were ones. my question is has any of you guys done this and what years do i look for and are the lower units the same bolt pattern up to a certain year. i need to get rid of this shear pin setup as its a nitemare down here in shallow waters . thanks
