Bama- Georgia is obviously the biggest of the games but Kstate is also playing with one last chance for the freshman to impress Heisman voters but can Texas pull it off, looked pretty sketchy last time I watched them.

I am still on the fence as to who I would rather have the IRISH play, going to be a really tough game either way but
I think we match up a little better to Bama than Georgia but I honestly think we can beat either one, all this talk of a blow out is just silly.

I think Georgia pulls it off but it will be a close feild goal type game

Baylor knocks off OK state by alot

Kstate over Texas and not close

Nebraska over Wisconsin in a close one and Florida over GT in another good game.

The Stanford- UCLA rematch was a really good game, almost thought UCLA was gonna pull it off.

And how sad is it this ios the last weekend of football till the bowls, doesn't seem possible.

I don't know what you're talking about, Kent State already played last night! ;) hehehe

But really, none of the games matter, except Alabama/Georgia.

I think the Big 10 game matters. I really don't want Nebraska to win. Even more-so since they're playing Wisconsin........

How does it matter? Just because it means 1 of two undeserving teams gets to go to the Rose Bowl to get WHOOPED by Stanford? How about giving Northern Illinois the Rose Bowl berth instead? They earned it. The Big 10 is a joke, top to bottom.

Yeah, pretty grim year. I'm not real sure Thee Ohio State could beat Stanford if they had the chance, and that's saying more about tOSU than Stanford. Sad to say, I really don't see Iowa improving much for next year.

Tell us how you really feel. Sure, Wisconsin caught a break due to OSU and PS not being bowl eligible. Why wouldn't Nebraska deserve to go? N. Illinois?

As far as whether OSU could beat Standford if they had a chance, they wouldn't meet. OSU would of played for the National Championship. But as we all know, that point is moot........

Ohio State University is getting exactly what they deserve, and I am happy about it. Nebraska is not very good, in my opinion. Their non-conference schedule was pitiful, except for UCLA, who beat them. They were LUCKY to beat Wisconsion earlier in the year, too.

Going to the Rose Bowl from the Big 10 used to mean something. But it doesn't anymore.

Sure Northern Illinois. They won the MAC, and beat Kent State to do it. (Kent State only had 1 loss) Give 'em a chance in a BCS game, for sure. Remember when Utah got into a BCS game and WHIPPED Pitt? Proved that the MWC and the Boise States of the world were more deserving that Big East and little 10 schools.

Wow, what a game between Alabama and Georgia! That is what football is supposed to look like! If Alabama plays like that in The BCS Chumpionship game, Notre Dame doesn't stand a chance. (And neither would Oregon or anyone else, except for maybe Johnny Football!)

Bama beat Georgia 32 to 28 in a real nail biter. On Georgia's last drive I chewed my nails off up to my elbows. Roll Tide :D

I think Alabama will win by 4 after going ahead only to watch Georgia drive inside the 5 as time expires.

Wisconsin is sure giving Nebraska a beating. 42 - 10 at half!

Yeah, I'm not sure where to come down on this one (currently 63-17). As an Iowa Hawkeye fan, there are few things on earth more unpleasant to view than a happy cheeser. Except for a victorious Bugeater. Best hope for Iowa fans is that one of the two be totally humbled and/or humiliated. Mission accomplished.

Re: Championship week-Who wins the big games?

I was really dissapointed in the Bama-Georgia game..... until the half, they both played the first half really flat I thought then came to life in the second-very good game.

Took Wisconsin all of 12 minutes to smoke Nebraska.

Now the eternal wait for the big game.

I think it would be a mistake to discount the IRISH, we have a tremendous defense, a very mobile QB and some good running backs and the best TE in the nation, the only game Bama lost was to a mobile QB, watch film on Golson, if you flush the kid from the pocket he will burn you every time.

The days of the IRISH getting to a bowl game and blowing up are over, they are for real, I am not saying we are gonna pound Bama but it won't be a blow out either.

Seems like I said Nebraska wasn't very good. They just proved it. Stanford v Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl could be a good game. But it could also be a slow, plodding 13-6 affair as well.

Wow, I didn't realize that players or coaches from Notre Dame posted on iboats! What position do you play or hold 5150?

(Everett Golson is no Johnny Football, not even close. He's a decent QB, but nowhere near the athlete/threat that Johnny Manzell is.)

That's the big equalizer, time. Teams now have to wait a month before they play again. Who knows what team will show up at any given BCS bowl game..... The wait is too long, IMO. It's all about the $.

Well my Noles won their conference (ACC), but it was ugly. A bit of an anti-climactic season overall. Thankfully, there was lots of funky/weird/wacky stuff happening this season to keep it interesting overall. Auburn collapses, Notre Dame rises from the ashes and the Tide rolls on. Can't believe it's over already :/ Can't wait for the mini-playoff system to be used either. Hopefully, it will better better than all the silly bowl games. Although, the iboats.com Bowl does have a nice ring to it ;)

OSU barely beat Cal who got killed by Stanford. OSU wouldn't have a chance.

As far as OSU going to the BCS if they were eligible, wouldn't have happened. Alabama would still be going even with OSU in the mix. Ohio State's strength of schedule was 51st in the country and computer ratings had them ranked around 12.

Wisconsin doesn't have a chance in the Rose Bowl.

I hate to say it but will be the first time in my life I will have ever rooted for Notre Dame.
