I have a 1975 Century Coronado left to us by my Dad. It used to be a hard top but my dad had taken off years back. His goal was to add the side windows that are on the Coronados without the hard top. I've tried to find the side windows online but have not had any success. I've also thought maybe I just need to find the tracks and have glass made to fit. I'm not having any luck and looking for advice.
I'm also needing to replace the carpet but there are tons of sites for that.
The windows are the main issue. I don't want to get a good cover made until the window is the way it should be. I actually do not know if the windshield needs to be replaced to add the side windows or if the design is the same.
Does anyone know a good place to look for used trailers for an inboard? I've been searching Craigslist for months with no luck. I am located in st. Louis, MO

I know that all of the hulls for the fiberglass Coronados came from the same molds. I believe the windshields are all the same as well. Do you still have the hard top? I believe the boat would be worth more if you could put it back on.

I actually just talked to Dave at A&A marine about some items I need for my Coronado. He will be able to help you, but I suggest you call not e-mail. A&A marine company was created by some of the employees from Century when they moved it from Manistee MI to Florida back in the 80's. A&A marine is in Manistee MI near where your Century was produced. They have much more available than what they show on the website. They might even be able to help you with replacing the original hardtop. They also have all of the original patterns for replacing the interior of your boat.

Thank you. I have emailed them a couple times but have not tried calling. I told my brother to call as it is easier for me to just put it in an email. If they want specifics I can't give it. I will tell him to make the call.

The front windshield, frame and glass, is exactly the same on all Coronado’s. The side windows or "returns" are also basically all the same on all Coronado's, although the "return" is actually a two-part system and you are simply missing 1/2 the parts of that system. On the hard top models, Century did not add the entire "return" for two reasons...Ventilation and Docking. The hard-top, itself, had windows that slide back and forth to allow ventilation and also to allow the driver to grab the dock while docking the boat. The “non-hard-top” Coronado’s would have the full side window returns.

The only possible differences in the "returns" may be the glass itself and I say that because the side window “returns” on my “non-hard-top” Coronado are not glass, they are Plexiglas and they are factory original. The “non-hard-top” Coronado’s also have a "vented" window that flips out for ventilation, whereas your hard-top model does not have that flip out window and I'm assuming it might be made of tempered glass for added rigidity.

FYI, the side windows or "returns" will be very tough, if not impossible, to find if A&A does not have them.

Also, I agree with Mark, if you still have the hard top, I would hang on to it...It is definitely worth money, either with your boat or a-la-carte to someone looking for one. Back in the day, a lot of people removed the tops because they were not really practical, and people preferred "open-air" boating...A lot of those tops went M.I.A. Today, however, the hard tops look really cool and make the boat a real head turner, because they are so rare.
