So I bought a bimini and a semi-fit cover for my boat this year. The Bimini I bought from iBoats, and it was a Carver, the cover I bought from discount boat covers and it ended up being a Carver as well.

They seem to be GREAT quality covers, although I had an issue with the boat cover.

After the windshield the thing is really saggy in the middle. I read Carver's shpele and they say that 'support poles are generally not required', but I can't figure out how to get it tight enough to not sag.

Well, I contacted Carver today and they are sending me out a support pole for free..should be here by Thursday.

What a company...customer service like that seems to be rare these days.

I have one, love it too. Poles are a great thing. My cover after a year (I use the cover in my slip so exposed to the elements all summer) has faded some (what cover wouldn't) and it has stretched some (poles take care of that) but it still fits snug enough not to move in the 40 mph winds the other night. Great covers IMHO

I kind of improvised a pole by using the pole and vent from my old cover:
