carburetor sync. 60hp

motor extremely hard to start fouls plugs not sure of proper starting procedure for 1989 evindrude 60 vro , once started runs good. but stopping let set for about 30 min. extremely hard to start again, using 100% gas 50:1 remix. newbe to marine motors.

No, just one push to prime than let up and turn key.

The primer is NOT a pump.----It is a valve that opens when key is pushed in.-----Advance throttle a bit.----Then push key in and hold it in while cranking it over.----Will give you near instant starts on a motor in good condition.
