Good day,

May I ask how to ajust the oil/gas mixture on my 15 hp Force (1997) in order to get the slowest and smoothest idling ?

Thank you

You really need to get a manual. Playing with the low speed mixture adjusting needle for lowest and smoothest idling on an outboard leads to stalling in gear and possily melted pistons at high speed. Most two cylinder Force outboards are adjusted for an idle of about 700 - 750 RPM in forward gear while in the water. You need a tachometer to set this-- It is difficult to hear 700.

If you are asking about oil/gas mix, it is 1 pint oil for 6 gallons gas. You can go a little less as this is actually 48 to 1 and the manufacturer specifies 50 to 1. But 1 pint is easier to measure.
