I used some stuff from Canadian tire to cover accent pieces on my dash in my boat - worked pretty slick , can see how it turned out in my sig.
This one advertised looks better for outdoor applications than the 3M DI-NOC.
3M DI-NOC which is a interior design film. Our 3D carbon wrap vinyl is a must have for full wraps. MetroRestyling Carbon Fiber Automotive Wrap Vinyl Sheets can be applied to Your car's hood, trunk, roof, dashboard, gauges, interior, amplifiers, wheels, mirrors, door handles, glass, cell phones, laptops, iPods, motorcycle parts, metal parts and just about any relatively non-porous surface. The film is coated with a UV coating which will last up to nine years outdoors.
Sounds like an advertisement. Lol
But could be the product to use?
in for results as I've been looking into this stuff and some solid carbon sheets for a few parts of my boat
Solid carbon fiber. Is that the real stuff?
Hey Guys, I found another option- http://www.rvinyl.com/vinyl-wrap.html
they sell vinyl wrap in solid colours as well as carbon fiber look- and it is good for Exterior UV intense surfaces. I ordered myself a small sample to give a try. The price is more reasonable than the 3M also.
Did you get your samples yet?
Just finished a dash and trim not to bad for $40. I will post pics tonight
