carb ?

i have a 7.4 bravo 1 ...I need to know how to adjust the idle air screws @ front of the carb the 2 screws @ the base i beleive its running rich on one side i have black smuck and carbon on one side of my boat and plugs wires are good....thanks

Do you have vacuum gauge? You can adjust screws for best vacuum... or do the turn it until it stumbles and turn it back method. Either way will work.

Turn them both in until finger tight and then back out two turns. Like Stingray said you can use a vacuum gauge or you can also use a tach. Adjusting the mixture is not a cure all if there is an underlying problem though.
