Carb Rebuild Question

Upon cleaning my middle carb from a '87 115hp, I stripped the screwdriver slot a bit. Does the rebiuld kit include new jets?

Normal rebuild kits do not include jets. Jets may be available from Merc.

Will the jet still perform as it should if it;s a little stripped? The orffice didn't get chewed at all...

If the diameter of the hole is unchanged, and the jet is tight in the carb body, it will work just fine. Blow it out with some carb cleaner or compressed air. Make sure the passages are clean.
