rebuilding the carbs on my 1991,88 special.Everything is really clean,no gunk or varnish. When spraying carb cleaner through the passages under the "freeze plugs" found one that's obstructed. What's the easiest way to remove and reinstall these plugs?
Some folks use either a sharp awl or sharp finish nail to punch through the disc and pry it out. Don't go in too far, you don't want to 'bottom out' the awl or nail. Install new disc with dome side out and using a flat drift, flatten disc until it's just flat.
